How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before unplugging any motor feedback connectors.
- Inspect feedback cable: Locate the low-voltage feedback cable between the Franklin Electric motor and the control module. Check for cuts, kinks, or pulled connectors.
- Reseat connectors: Unplug and firmly reconnect the feedback plug at both motor and drive ends to ensure good contact.
- Check for pin damage: Examine connector pins for bending or corrosion. Clean gently if corroded.
- Test at fixed speed: If the drive allows open-loop operation, temporarily run the motor without feedback to confirm basic function (technician only).
- Replace faulty component: If E11 remains, the internal sensor in the motor or the drive’s feedback circuit is defective. Replace the motor assembly or drive as recommended by Franklin Electric.
