How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before removing the keypad or display assembly.
- Inspect keypad surface: Check for cracks, UV damage, or signs of water intrusion around the keypad on the Harris control panel.
- Check ribbon cable: Remove the control cover and verify the ribbon cable from the keypad to the main PCB is fully seated and not pinched or corroded.
- Dry moisture: If condensation is present, gently dry the area and improve weather protection (e.g., install a sun shield or small enclosure).
If E14 persists and keys remain unresponsive, replace the keypad/display assembly or the entire control module as specified by Harris.
