Possible Causes

Welded motor relay contacts on control PCB, Keypad failure sending constant run command, External automation overriding local control

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Use the breaker to shut off power before opening the control housing.

  • Check external control: If the Harris pump is connected to automation, disconnect the control cable and test local keypad control. If normal control returns, reconfigure the automation.
  • Test keypad buttons: Verify that the STOP/OFF button responds and is not physically stuck.
  • Inspect control PCB: Look for signs of overheating near the motor relay. A welded relay will require PCB replacement.

Do not rely on a faulty control to stop the pump; replace the control module if the relay is stuck.
