Water leaking from the drain plugs at the bottom of the Harris pump housing

Safety first: Turn off the pump and close valves if possible to minimize water loss.

• Tighten drain plugs: Use your fingers or a suitable tool to snug the drain plugs. Do not overtighten, as this can crack the housing.
• Inspect gaskets: Remove the plugs and check the small o-rings or gaskets. Replace if cracked, flattened, or missing.
• Check housing threads: Inspect the threaded holes in the Harris pump housing for cracks. If cracked, the housing may need replacement.

After reinstalling plugs with good gaskets, restart the pump and check for leaks.
