Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Only a licensed electrician should alter fixed wiring. Do not attempt if you are not qualified.
- Verify supply: Confirm the pump is connected to the correct voltage as per the Hurlcon nameplate (typically 230–240 V single phase).
- Check terminal links: For dual-voltage motors, ensure the terminal links are configured as per the wiring diagram under the terminal cover.
- Correct polarity: Ensure active, neutral, and earth are connected to the correct terminals and that earth is securely bonded.
After correcting wiring, reset the controller. If E1 persists, the internal protection circuit may have been damaged and the motor or control board may require replacement.
