Pump will not start at all, no hum, no click, and no display on Hurlcon controller.

Safety: Do not work on live circuits. If unsure, call an electrician.

• Check breaker and RCD: Inspect the switchboard for a tripped breaker or safety switch. Reset if tripped and observe if it trips again when the pump is turned on.
• Test outlet: For plug-in pumps, plug a lamp or other appliance into the same outlet to confirm power is present.
• Inspect cord and plug: Look for cuts, burns, or loose pins on the Hurlcon pump cord and plug.
• Controller fuse: If accessible, check the small fuse inside the Hurlcon controller and replace with the same rating if blown.

If there is power at the outlet but the pump remains dead, the internal power supply or motor is likely failed and requires professional repair or replacement.
