Possible Causes
Severe control board failure, Multiple sensor faults, Power surge or lightning damage
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the pump and keep the area dry.
- Power reset: Disconnect power for 15–20 minutes, then reconnect and attempt to start the pump. Note if E99 appears immediately.
- Inspect for visible damage: Look for burn marks, melted plastic, or cracked housings on the control panel and motor assembly.
- Check all external connections: Ensure all sensor cables (if present), power cords, and ground connections are secure and undamaged.
- Replace electronics: E99 usually indicates a non-recoverable internal error. Replace the control panel assembly and/or motor control board. If there is extensive damage, replacing the complete pump and motor unit may be more practical.
