How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before moving or modifying equipment. Do not cover the pump or block vents.
- Improve cooling:
- Clear debris and obstructions around the pump and motor.
- Provide shade or ventilation if the pump is in direct sun or a small enclosure.
- Check for other heat sources:
- Ensure heaters or other hot equipment are not exhausting directly onto the pump.
- Allow cooling and restart:
- Let the pump cool for at least 30 minutes, then restore power and test.
- If TEMP error occurs at normal temperatures: The internal sensor or drive may be faulty. Contact a Jandy service technician to evaluate and replace the drive module if needed.
