Pump leaks at the union connections on suction or discharge side.

Safety first: Turn off power and close valves before loosening unions. Expect some water spillage.

• Tighten unions:
  • Hand-tighten the union nuts on both suction and discharge sides.
• Inspect O-rings:
  • Loosen the union, remove and inspect the O-ring for cuts or flattening.
  • Replace with Jandy-compatible union O-rings if damaged.
• Check alignment:
  • Ensure plumbing is not putting side-load on the union; adjust supports if necessary.
• Replace cracked unions:
  • If the union body is cracked, cut out and replace with a new Jandy union kit.
