Pump turns on and off rapidly (short cycling) without user input.

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before inspecting electrical connections.

• Inspect power connections:
  • Check for loose wires at the pump and in the AquaLink panel.
• Check for overheating:
  • Feel the drive/motor housing; if very hot, improve ventilation and check for overloading.
• Inspect relays (single-speed):
  • Look for chattering or burnt contacts on the filter pump relay; replace if necessary.
• Isolate from automation:
  • Temporarily bypass automation control and run pump directly to see if cycling stops.
• If short cycling continues: A failing drive or control board may be the cause; professional diagnosis is recommended.
