Possible Causes

Blown fuse on one phase in Kripsol control panel, Loose phase conductor at motor terminal block, Faulty contactor supplying the Kripsol pump, Internal drive fault on Kripsol variable-speed controller

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Three‑phase systems are hazardous. Only qualified persons should open panels or test live circuits.

  • Check supply fuses/breakers: In the Kripsol control cabinet, verify that all three phase fuses or breakers feeding the pump are intact and in the ON position. Replace any blown fuses with the correct rating.
  • Inspect terminal connections: With power off and locked out, open the motor terminal box and check that all three phase wires are tight and not burnt. Tighten as needed and look for discoloration.
  • Contactor inspection: If a contactor is used, inspect the contacts for burning or pitting. Replace the contactor if one pole is clearly damaged.
  • Controller/drive: On Kripsol variable-speed pumps, E04 may indicate an internal drive phase fault. If supply is correct and connections are sound, the drive module or controller PCB may need replacement.

Do not bypass safety devices or run the pump on two phases. If you are not trained in three‑phase systems, contact a pool technician or electrician.
