Possible Causes
High mains voltage above Kripsol drive tolerance, Sudden load shedding causing regenerative overvoltage, Faulty internal braking circuitry in Kripsol drive, Loose neutral connection in supply
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Only qualified persons should measure live voltages.
- Measure supply voltage: With a multimeter, verify that line voltage is within ±10% of the pump rating. If consistently high, contact your power utility or an electrician.
- Check neutral and earth: Ensure neutral and earth connections in the Kripsol control panel are tight and correctly landed. A floating neutral can cause overvoltage conditions.
- Reduce abrupt stops: If E07 occurs when valves are slammed shut or the system changes quickly, adjust the ramp-down time in the Kripsol variable-speed controller to slow deceleration.
- Drive inspection: If supply is normal and wiring is correct, the internal DC bus or braking circuit may be faulty. Replacement of the drive module is typically required.
Do not continue to reset and run the pump if E07 recurs frequently; this can damage the drive and motor.
