Possible Causes
Incorrect phase sequence on three‑phase Kripsol motor, Miswired motor terminals (star/delta links incorrect), Loose or swapped leads between controller and motor, Internal motor connection fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Three‑phase wiring must be handled by qualified personnel. Lock out power before opening the motor terminal box.
- Verify wiring against diagram: Remove the motor terminal cover and compare the connections and brass links to the wiring diagram on the inside of the cover or on the Kripsol motor nameplate. Correct any miswired leads.
- Check phase order: If the pump was recently rewired, the phase order may be incorrect. Swap any two phase conductors at the motor or controller output to correct rotation, following Kripsol documentation.
- Tighten terminals: Ensure all terminal screws are tight and that no strands are loose or touching adjacent terminals.
- Internal motor fault: If wiring is correct but E08 persists, the motor's internal connections may be damaged. A motor shop or technician should test and, if necessary, rewind or replace the motor.
Do not guess wiring configurations; incorrect connections can destroy the motor and controller.
