Possible Causes
Incorrect wiring of RS485 bus to Kripsol pump, Shorted communication cable, Wrong protocol or address settings, Faulty communication interface on controller PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before working on control wiring.
- Check automation wiring: Locate the RS485 or control terminals on the Kripsol pump and the external automation system. Verify polarity (A/B) and that shield/ground are connected as per both manuals.
- Isolate the pump: Temporarily disconnect the external control wires and run the pump in local/manual mode. If E14 disappears, the issue is with the external system or wiring.
- Address/protocol: In the pump menu, confirm that the communication address and protocol match the automation controller's configuration.
- Cable inspection: Inspect the communication cable for damage, especially at entry points. Replace if crushed or water-damaged.
If E14 persists even with no external wiring connected, the communication interface on the Kripsol controller PCB may be defective and require replacement.
