E15
Kripsol
System Overpressure / Hydraulic Protection
Display shows E15 and pump stops; may be associated with very high filter pressure.

Possible Causes
Closed or partially closed return valve, Blocked return line, Multiport valve set incorrectly (e.g., CLOSED), Severely clogged filter media in Kripsol sand filter
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the pump before changing valve positions. Never run the pump with the multiport valve in CLOSED.
- Check multiport valve: Ensure the Kripsol sand filter multiport valve is set to FILTER (or appropriate mode) and not CLOSED or RECIRCULATE unintentionally.
- Inspect return valves: Verify that all return line valves are open. Partially closed valves can cause high pressure and trigger E15.
- Backwash filter: If the filter pressure gauge is significantly above normal, perform a full backwash and rinse cycle according to Kripsol filter instructions.
- Check for obstructions: Inspect return fittings and lines for blockages (e.g., toys, plugs). Remove any obstructions.
After correcting the hydraulic issue, reset the error and monitor pressure. If E15 recurs with normal valve positions and clean filter, the pressure sensor or controller may be faulty.
