Safety first: Turn off power and allow the motor to cool before handling.

Improve ventilation: Ensure the Kripsol pump has adequate airflow around the motor. Clear away debris and open vents in the pump room or enclosure.
Check system pressure: Compare filter pressure to normal. If significantly higher, backwash the filter and open any partially closed valves to reduce head.
Listen for bearing noise: If the motor is noisy and hot, bearings may be failing. Plan for motor replacement.
Verify voltage: Have an electrician measure supply voltage under load to ensure it matches the motor nameplate.

Prolonged overheating shortens motor life; address the cause promptly.
