• Service lid O-ring: Clean, lubricate, and if necessary replace the Kripsol pump lid O-ring.
• Check drain plugs: Tighten the pump housing drain plugs and ensure their gaskets are intact.
• Inspect suction fittings: Examine all visible suction-side joints for cracks or weeping. Repair or replace as needed.
• Leak detection: Use shaving cream or soapy water around joints while the pump is running; watch for spots where the cream is drawn in, indicating an air leak.
