Possible Causes
Loose mounting bolts on Kripsol pump base, Debris stuck in impeller causing imbalance, Warped impeller, Rigid piping putting stress on pump ports
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before tightening hardware or opening the pump.
- Secure mounting: Check that the Kripsol pump base is firmly anchored to the pad and that all mounting bolts are tight.
- Inspect impeller: Remove the pump housing and check the impeller for debris or damage. Clean or replace as needed.
- Support piping: Add pipe supports or flexible couplings to relieve stress on the pump ports. Misaligned rigid piping can twist the pump and cause vibration.
- Check for cavitation: If vibration coincides with rattling noises and low suction pressure, address cavitation causes (see cavitation fault above).
