Dry‑Run / No‑Flow Protection Activated
Pump stops with E10, water flow is very low or zero

Possible Causes
Blocked suction line or skimmer, Air leak on suction side, Closed suction or discharge valve, Clogged Lowara pump strainer basket, Faulty flow or pressure sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before opening the pump lid or working on pipework.
- Check strainer basket: Remove the transparent lid on the Lowara pump and clean the basket thoroughly. Ensure the basket seats correctly.
- Verify valves: Confirm all suction and return valves are fully open and that any bypass valves are correctly positioned.
- Inspect for air leaks: Check the pump lid O‑ring for cracks or flattening. Lubricate with silicone grease and reseat. Tighten unions on the suction side.
- Re‑prime the pump: Fill the strainer housing with water, replace the lid, open any air bleed, and start the pump. It should establish a solid flow within a minute.
- Sensor check: If flow is clearly present but E10 still appears, the flow or pressure sensor used by the Lowara control may be faulty or miswired.
- When to call a pro: Persistent dry‑run alarms with good hydraulics require sensor or control diagnostics by a technician.
