Pump runs but flow is weak and pressure at the filter gauge is low

Safety first: Turn off power and close valves before opening the pump.

• Clean strainer basket: Remove and thoroughly clean the basket. Ensure no debris remains around the suction port.
• Bleed air: Open the air bleed on the filter or pump (if fitted) to remove trapped air from the system.
• Inspect suction line: Check for kinks or collapses in any flexible hose. Replace if deformed.
• Check impeller: If performance remains poor, remove the motor from the Lowara pump housing and inspect the impeller for debris or wear. Clean or replace as needed.
• Reassemble and test: Re‑prime the pump and verify that filter pressure and flow return to normal.
