Pump runs but water in the pump housing appears milky or full of tiny bubbles

Safety first: Turn off pump before opening any part of the suction side.

• Raise water level: Ensure pool water level is high enough to cover skimmer openings fully.
• Check lid and unions: Tighten the Lowara pump lid and suction unions. Inspect and lubricate the lid O‑ring.
• Vacuum line check: If using a vacuum hose, ensure all connections are submerged and airtight.
• Bleed air: Use the filter or pump air bleed to purge trapped air from the system.
• Monitor: If bubbles persist, a more thorough leak test of the suction line may be needed.
