Pump starts normally but shuts off when pool cleaner or additional load is connected

Safety first: Do not repeatedly reset overloads; identify the cause.

• Test without cleaner: Run the Lowara pump without the pool cleaner connected and note current draw and temperature.
• Inspect cleaner hose: Check for kinks or restrictions that may increase suction head.
• Clean impeller and basket: Ensure the pump and skimmer baskets are clean and the impeller is free of debris.
• Reduce restrictions: Open additional suction lines if available to share the load.
• Consider sizing: If overload persists only with the cleaner, a larger pump or separate booster may be required.
