Water leaking from around the transparent pump lid

Safety first: Turn off the pump before opening the lid to avoid drawing in air.

• Clean sealing surfaces: Remove the lid and O‑ring. Clean the groove and mating surface on the Lowara pump housing.
• Inspect O‑ring: Check for cracks, flat spots, or stretching. Replace with the correct Lowara O‑ring if any damage is found.
• Lubricate: Apply a thin film of silicone‑based lubricant to the O‑ring to improve sealing and ease of installation.
• Reinstall lid: Seat the O‑ring properly and tighten the lid evenly by hand. Do not overtighten.
• Check for leaks: Restart the pump and observe the lid area for drips.
