Water leaking from the threaded or union connections on suction or discharge

Safety first: Turn off pump and relieve system pressure before loosening any fittings.

• Tighten unions: Hand‑tighten union nuts, then snug slightly with a strap wrench if needed. Do not overtighten plastic fittings.
• Inspect O‑rings/gaskets: Disassemble leaking unions and inspect the sealing elements. Replace with compatible Lowara or equivalent parts if damaged.
• Check alignment: Ensure pipework is aligned naturally with the pump ports and not forcing the pump out of position.
• Re‑seal threads: For threaded connections, clean old sealant and reapply PTFE tape or approved thread sealant before reassembly.
• Test for leaks: Restart the pump and observe all joints.
