Pump vibrates excessively, causing pipes to shake and the pump to move on its base.

Safety: Turn off power before touching the pump or plumbing.

• Check mounting: Ensure the Onga pump is securely bolted to a solid base and that rubber feet or pads are intact.
• Inspect plumbing: Look for rigid pipe runs that force the pump out of alignment. Add flexible unions or adjust supports if necessary.
• Clean impeller: Open the wet end and remove any debris from the impeller that could cause imbalance.
• Check coupling/alignment: On models with a separate motor and pump body, verify that the motor and wet end are correctly aligned and all bolts are tight.

After corrections, run the pump and observe. If vibration persists, the impeller or motor shaft may be bent and require replacement.
