Pahlén pool pump lid is difficult to remove or install, and may leak after servicing

• Clean threads: Remove the lid and carefully clean both lid and housing threads with a soft brush.

• Lubricate O-ring only: Do not lubricate threads; only apply silicone lubricant to the O-ring to ease sealing.
• Install carefully: Start the lid squarely and hand-tighten evenly to avoid cross-threading.
