Possible Causes
Corrupted configuration memory in drive, Power surge during write operation, Failed EEPROM or microcontroller
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before servicing.
- Power reset: Turn off the breaker for 5–10 minutes, then restore power and see if the error clears.
- Factory reset: Follow the Sta‑Rite IntelliPro VS‑SR manual to perform a factory default reset of all schedules and speeds. This can clear corrupted parameters.
- Reprogram settings: After reset, re‑enter desired speeds, schedules, and external control settings.
- Surge protection: Install a surge protector on the pump circuit to prevent future memory corruption from voltage spikes.
- Board replacement: If E13 persists and the pump will not operate, the control board’s memory device is likely defective and the drive control module must be replaced.
