Pump runs but pressure gauge on filter reads zero and there is no circulation

Safety: Turn off power before changing valve positions. Open air relief slowly to avoid injury.

• Prime pump: Fill the Sta‑Rite pump strainer housing with water and ensure the lid o‑ring is sealing properly.
• Bleed air from filter: With the pump running, open the air relief valve on top of the filter until a steady stream of water comes out, then close it.
• Check valve positions: Verify that the multiport valve (if present) is set to Filter and that any bypass valves around the filter or heater are correctly positioned.
• Inspect for internal filter issues: A broken standpipe or missing internal parts can cause no pressure. If suspected, open the filter and inspect internals.
