Possible Causes
Tripped circuit breaker, Faulty time clock or automation relay, Loose wiring at pump terminal block, Failed internal fuse on Raypak drive
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Use a non‑contact voltage tester and turn off power at the main panel before opening any enclosures.
- Check breaker and GFCI: Reset the pool pump breaker and any GFCI outlets or breakers feeding the Raypak pump. If it trips again immediately, do not force it; investigate further.
- Inspect external controls: Verify that any mechanical timer or automation system is in the ON position and that its contacts are closing when scheduled.
- Verify line voltage at pump: With power on (qualified person only), measure voltage at the pump input terminals. If no voltage is present, trace back to the panel or timer.
- Check internal fuse: Turn power off, open the Raypak pump drive housing, and inspect any internal fuses. Replace only with the same type and rating.
