Possible Causes
Broken or loose RS‑485 or control cable, Incorrect control protocol settings, Reversed polarity on communication terminals, Faulty automation controller
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power to both the pump and the automation system before handling control wiring.
- Verify wiring: Check the low‑voltage control terminals on the Saci pump (e.g. RS‑485 A/B, digital inputs). Ensure wires are firmly clamped and polarity is correct.
- Inspect cable: Follow the control cable route and look for cuts, crushed sections, or water‑filled junction boxes. Replace damaged cable.
- Check settings: In the pump menu, confirm the communication address, baud rate, and protocol match the automation controller's configuration.
- Test locally: Try running the pump from its local control panel. If it runs locally but not via automation, the issue is likely in the external controller or wiring.
If E10 remains after correcting wiring and settings, the communication interface on the pump PCB may be defective.
