Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect mains power and wait several minutes for capacitors in the controller to discharge.
Inspection steps:
- Open controller housing: Remove the cover of the Speck control box. Look for condensation, corrosion, or insect nests on the PCB.
- Check connectors: Gently reseat all plug-in connectors between the display board, main PCB, and low-voltage harnesses. Ensure they are fully latched.
- Dry moisture: If moisture is present, dry the interior with a clean cloth and allow the unit to air-dry thoroughly. Identify and correct any leaks or missing gaskets.
- Verify grounding: Confirm the earth/ground conductor is securely connected to the controller and motor frame.
Restore power and test. If E06 persists or returns frequently, the control PCB is likely defective and should be replaced with a genuine Speck Pumpen control board.
