Possible Causes

Loose electrical connection in Speck control box, Overheating motor thermal protector cycling, Faulty pressure or flow switch (if installed), Undersized breaker or shared circuit overload

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Isolate power before opening any electrical enclosures.

Electrical checks:

  • Inspect and tighten all terminal screws in the Speck control box and motor terminal box.
  • Check the breaker rating against motor nameplate current; upgrade only if wiring supports it and per code.

Thermal cycling:

  • If the motor is very hot when it stops and restarts after cooling, investigate causes of overheating (blocked vents, high load).

If a separate flow or pressure switch is wired in series, test or temporarily bypass it (for testing only) to see if it is causing false trips, then replace if faulty.
