Water leaks from the drain plug area at the bottom of the pump housing.

Safety first: Turn off the pump and close valves. Allow pressure to dissipate.

Fix the drain plug:

• Unscrew the Speck drain plug and inspect the O-ring or gasket. Replace if flattened or cracked.
• Wrap the plug threads with PTFE tape if recommended by Speck for your model.
• Reinstall the plug hand-tight, then snug slightly with a wrench. Do not overtighten.

If the housing threads are cracked, the pump housing may need replacement.
