Possible Causes
Failed internal temperature or flow sensor, Loose internal wiring connector, Damaged control PCB, Moisture intrusion into control housing
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Unplug the pump and dry your hands before inspecting the control housing.
- Visual inspection: Check the control panel and housing for cracks, water inside the display window, or signs of corrosion.
- Dry the unit: If the pump has been exposed to heavy rain or splashing, move it to a dry area. Allow it to dry for 24 hours. Do not open sealed electronic compartments unless the warranty has expired and you are qualified.
- Check cable strain reliefs: Ensure that the power cord and any sensor cables enter the housing without being pinched or pulled loose.
- Restart after drying: Plug the pump back in and attempt to start. If E6 remains, the internal sensor or control board is likely defective and the control assembly should be replaced as a unit.
