Pump is unusually quiet and cool but there is no water movement in the pool.

Safety First: Unplug the pump before checking hoses or opening the housing.

• Check hose connections: Ensure both suction and return hoses are firmly attached at the pool and pump.
• Prime the pump: Fill the pump housing with water and reinstall the lid securely.
• Inspect intake: Verify that the pool intake screen is not blocked by a cover, plug, or debris.
• Restart and observe: Plug in and start the pump. If the motor runs but still no flow, internal components such as the impeller or bypass may be damaged and the wet end should be inspected or replaced.
