U.S. Motors variable-speed pool pump runs only at one speed and does not respond to speed changes on the keypad.

Safety first: Turn off power before removing the keypad or control cover.

• Check for control lock: Review the user manual to see if the pump is in a locked or external control mode. Disable external control to regain local speed adjustment.
• Test buttons: Press each keypad button and observe if the display registers input. Non-responsive buttons indicate keypad failure.

• Try factory reset: Perform a factory reset to clear any software lockups.
