Possible Causes

Failed internal motor speed sensor, Damaged sensor wiring harness between motor and control board, Loose connector at motor end bell

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn off power and wait for the motor to stop completely before working on it.

  • Inspect wiring harness: Remove the rear motor cover and locate the low‑voltage harness from the motor to the control board. Check for pinched, cut, or chewed wires.
  • Reseat connectors: Disconnect and reconnect the sensor plug at both the motor and control board ends, ensuring a firm connection.
  • Check for corrosion: Look for green or white corrosion on the connector pins. Clean lightly with electrical contact cleaner and a soft brush.
  • Test operation: Restore power and run the pump at a low RPM, then increase gradually. If E07 reappears, the internal motor sensor is likely defective and the motor assembly should be replaced.
