• Inspect o‑ring: Examine the large housing o‑ring for cuts, flattening, or chemical damage. Replace if needed.
• Clean surfaces: Thoroughly clean the o‑ring groove and mating surfaces. Remove any sand or debris.
• Reassemble evenly: Install the new o‑ring, lightly lubricate if recommended, and tighten housing bolts evenly in a criss‑cross pattern. Do not overtighten.
• Check for cracks: If leaks persist, inspect the housing for hairline cracks and replace the housing if damaged.
