AGA induction cooktop shows E0 and does not heat when a pan is placed

Safety first: Ensure the cooktop surface is clean and dry before use.

• Check pan compatibility: Use a pan with a magnetic base. Test with a fridge magnet; if it sticks firmly, the pan is suitable.
• Correct pan size: Make sure the pan base is at least 60–70% of the zone diameter. Very small pans may not be detected.
• Center the pan: Place the pan centrally over the marked cooking zone.
• Try another pan: If E0 persists with one pan, try a different induction-compatible pan to rule out pan issues.

When to call a technician: If E0 appears with multiple known-good pans on all zones, there may be a sensor or control fault requiring service.
