Possible Causes
Internal fault in power electronics, Poor pan contact causing unstable load, Defective current sensing circuit, Damaged power module from surge
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch off power at the mains before any inspection.
- Pan and surface check: Ensure the glass is clean and the pan base is flat and stable. Try a different induction-compatible pan.
- Power reset: Turn off the cooker for 10–15 minutes, then restore power and test the affected zone at low power first.
- Monitor behaviour: If E2 appears only at very high power settings, reduce the power level and avoid using boost on that zone until serviced.
When to call a technician: E2 usually indicates a failing power module. Replacement of the module should be carried out by an AGA-authorised engineer.
