Possible Causes
Burned-out bake element, Loose or burned wire at element terminal, Failed relay on control board, Broken terminal block connection
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker before touching any wiring or elements.
- Visual inspection: Look at the bake element (bottom of oven) for blisters, cracks, or burn spots.
- Test element:
- Remove the rear panel or unscrew the element from inside the oven.
- Disconnect wires and measure resistance; a typical element reads 15–40 Ω. If open, replace.
- Check wiring: Inspect wires and terminals for burns or looseness; repair or replace as needed.
- Control board: If element and wiring are good but no voltage is supplied during bake, the control board relay may be faulty and require replacement.
