Oven will not heat properly, display shows F3, sometimes appears shortly after starting a bake cycle.

Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker before accessing internal components.

• Locate the oven sensor: Inside the oven cavity, find the thin metal probe mounted with two screws on the rear wall.
• Remove and test sensor:
  • Remove the mounting screws and gently pull the sensor forward.
  • Disconnect the plug (may be behind the rear panel on some models).
  • Measure resistance with a multimeter; at room temperature it should be ~1050–1100 Ω.
  • If the sensor is open (infinite resistance) or far out of spec, replace it.
• Check wiring and connectors: Inspect the harness from the sensor to the control board for cuts, burns, or loose pins. Reseat connectors firmly.
• Control board: If the sensor and wiring are good but F3 persists, the sensor input circuit on the electronic control may be faulty and the control board should be replaced.
