Safety first: Disconnect power before removing any panels or testing continuity.

• Check door closure: Ensure the oven door closes fully and evenly. Look for bent hinges, warped door, or obstructions.
• Test door switch:
  • Locate the door switch (usually in the front frame near the door latch).
  • Press the switch plunger by hand; you should hear a distinct click.
  • With a multimeter, test continuity across the switch terminals while pressing and releasing the plunger. Replace the switch if it does not change state.
• Inspect actuator and bracket: Make sure the door latch or striker properly engages the switch when the door is closed. Adjust or replace bent parts as needed.
• Wiring check: Inspect the harness from the door switch to the control board for damage or loose connections.
