Display shows SAb or Sabbath mode; oven will not respond to normal commands or appears unresponsive.

Safety note: Sabbath mode is a user feature, not a fault.

• Exit Sabbath mode: On many American Range electronic models, press and hold the BAKE key for 5–10 seconds until SAb disappears. Some models require pressing and holding TIMER or a combination such as BAKE + BROIL. Consult your user manual for the exact sequence.
• Power reset: If you cannot exit SAb using the keypad, turn off power at the breaker for 1 minute, then restore and try again.

Once Sabbath mode is cleared, normal oven operation should resume.
