Cooktop makes loud buzzing or humming noises during induction operation.

Possible Causes
Normal magnetostriction in coils, Thin or lightweight cookware vibrating, Loose mounting of induction coil, Loose cabinet or chassis panels
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure cookware is stable and the cooktop is properly installed.
- Change cookware: Try a heavier, thicker-bottomed induction pan. Noise often decreases with better cookware.
- Adjust power: Reduce the power setting slightly; some noise is normal at high power levels.
- Check mounting: From below, verify that the induction coils and mounting brackets are tight and that no panels are rattling. Tighten screws as needed.
- Isolate vibration: Add felt or foam strips (heat-resistant) between loose cabinet trim and the cooktop frame if they are vibrating.
Mild buzzing is normal for induction, but sudden changes in noise level can indicate a loose component.
