Possible Causes
Disconnected or broken temperature sensor, Loose connector at power module, Damaged sensor wiring harness
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker and allow the unit to cool.
- Locate sensor: Access the underside and find the NTC sensor for the affected zone, usually clipped to the glass.
- Check connection: Ensure the sensor plug is fully seated in the power module. Reseat the connector to improve contact.
- Inspect wiring: Look for cuts, breaks, or burn marks along the sensor leads. Replace the sensor if any damage is found.
- Test with meter (advanced): A typical NTC will show a finite resistance at room temperature. An infinite reading indicates an open sensor that must be replaced.
Always replace sensors with Asko-approved parts to maintain correct temperature control.
