Possible Causes
Broken coil winding, Disconnected coil leads, Burned connector at coil, Faulty power module output channel
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker and verify no voltage is present.
- Inspect coil wiring: Remove the bottom cover and check the affected zone’s coil connections. Tighten any loose terminals and replace burned connectors.
- Check coil integrity: Look for visible breaks or burn marks on the coil. A damaged coil must be replaced.
- Harness check: Follow the coil wires back to the power module and ensure the harness is intact and firmly connected.
- Module replacement: If the coil and wiring are good, the power module output for that zone is likely open and the module will need replacement.
Do not attempt to splice or repair coil windings; always install a new Asko coil assembly.
