Possible Causes

Open or shorted oven temperature sensor, Damaged sensor wiring, Faulty electronic oven control (EOC) sensor circuit

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker and allow the oven to cool completely.

  • Locate sensor: Inside the oven cavity, find the temperature sensor probe (usually on the back wall). Remove the mounting screws and gently pull the sensor forward to access the connector.
  • Check connection: Ensure the sensor plug is firmly connected. If accessible from the rear, also check the connection at the control board.
  • Inspect wiring: Look for frayed or burned insulation along the sensor leads. Replace the sensor if any damage is present.
  • Replace sensor: If F10 persists, replace the oven temperature sensor with an Asko-compatible RTD. If the error remains after sensor replacement, the EOC may be defective and require replacement.

Do not operate the oven with a known sensor fault; temperature control will be unreliable.
