Pan Detection / Induction Load Fault
Cooktop shows F5 and beeps when trying to use a zone.

Possible Causes
Incompatible cookware (non-magnetic), Cookware too small for zone, Warped pan bottom causing poor contact, Faulty pan detection circuit on power module
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the glass is cool before testing different cookware.
- Test cookware: Use a flat-bottomed, ferromagnetic pan (a magnet should stick firmly to the base). Make sure the pan size matches or exceeds the minimum diameter for the zone.
- Center the pan: Place the pan in the center of the marked cooking zone. Avoid using pans with heavily warped or rounded bottoms.
- Try another zone: If the same pan works on another zone, the issue is likely with the original zone’s detection circuit.
- Internal check: If F5 persists with proper cookware, the power module’s pan detection circuitry may be faulty and the module will need replacement.
Using undersized or non-induction cookware can repeatedly trigger F5 but does not usually indicate a hardware failure.
