Possible Causes
Stuck fan relay on control board, Faulty temperature sensor reporting high temperature, Control logic glitch after self-clean cycle
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the oven is empty and the area is safe.
- Allow cooling time: It is normal for the cooling fan to run for some time after use, especially after high-temperature or self-clean cycles. Wait at least 60–90 minutes.
- Power reset: If the fan still runs after the oven is cool to the touch, turn off the breaker for 5 minutes, then restore power.
- Sensor check: If the fan immediately starts again on a cold oven, the temperature sensor may be reading incorrectly and should be tested and replaced if out of range.
- Control board: A fan that runs constantly despite normal sensor readings usually indicates a stuck relay on the control board, requiring board replacement.
Continuous fan operation can be noisy and may indicate an underlying control issue.
